Phillip & Wendy Cody

Pastor Phillip Cody is the Senior Pastor at The River Church of God.

Pastor Cody's style of preaching uses his unique sense humor along with an occasional illustrated sermon to deliver the word of God in a powerful way. We are confident you will feel the presence of God and be ministered to in each service at The River. Pastor Cody and Wendy, have a tremendous annointing on their lives to preach and teach the gospel and touch lives. They are committed to the ministry and have a strong desire to see souls saved for the Kingdom of God.  Phillip and Wendy have a son, Caleb, and beautiful twin girls, Brighton and BriAnn. We are truly blessed to have their family at The River.

 

Jay & Jamie Prosser

We are blessed to have Pastor Jay Prosser serving as Administrative Pastor and Jamie Prosser serving as Worship Leader at The River.  Jay and Jamie are both native Alabamians and have been married since March, 1995.  They are the parents of wonderful twin boys, Hunter and Kylan and live here in Guntersville.  Since their marriage, Jay and Jamie have been involved in both pastoral and evangelistic ministry.  They have a unique style of Pentecostal ministry and have a heart to touch people with the love of Jesus Christ.  Jay has been preaching since the age of 19; his ministries have included pastoral ministry, revivals, television appearances and missionary trips. Jamie has a rich family history of musical talent.  She has been singing in church since the age of 3 and since that time has been involved in music ministry.

Along with their committment to ministry and family, Jay and Jamie are also both practicing Registered Nurses.

 

 

Jermine & Lindsey Davis

We are excited to have Jermine and Lindsey on staff here at The River.  Having attended this church for many years and coming up through the youth program here, Jermine and Lindsey have a burden to work with our youth here today and have a great vision for our youth program. They are eager and ready for the challenge and responsibility that awaits them to Raise Up Soldiers of Honor.

The Davis' have two children, Genre Mae and Koriah Lee.  They both grew up in this area and met 5 years ago at when the church was then known as Guntersville Church of God.  Jermine is the youngest of 5 children and Lindsey is an only child. Jermine is currently attending Snead State Community College and Lindsey is a graduate of Lee University.  

Jermine and Lindsey live in Albertville.
